What Speedster does
The direct answers: what we do, who it's for, where we work, and what actually moves the needle in home service marketing.
What does Speedster Marketing do?
Speedster Marketing is a lead generation agency for home service companies. We run Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns with video and image creative built from your real jobs, then back them with a follow-up system: every new lead gets a text reply within 60 seconds, automatically, and keeps hearing from you until they respond. The moment a lead replies, you or your office take over the conversation from one simple app on your phone. It's a done-for-you system — ads, creative, follow-up, and pipeline — built by a founder who has run his own home service company for 15 years.
What makes Speedster different from other home service marketing agencies?
Four structural things. First, the founder is a 15-year home service operator — every system Speedster sells runs on his own company before it touches a client account. Second, ad creative is built from your real jobs, not stock templates shared across clients. Third, ads are only half the system: the 60-second reply and multi-touch follow-up are installed with them, because leads are won by whoever answers first and keeps showing up. Fourth, market exclusivity — one client per trade, per service area, so Speedster never competes against you with your neighbor's budget.
What trades does Speedster Marketing work with?
Speedster serves home service trades: pressure washing, paver sealing, plumbing, roofing, HVAC, and landscaping/lawn care are the trades we run end-to-end. For other exterior and home services — painting, fencing, tree service, pool care, and similar — we'll honestly assess on the intro call whether the system transfers, and tell you straight if it doesn't. We take one client per trade, per service area.
Where does Speedster Marketing operate?
Speedster works with home service companies across the United States. The system is location-independent — ads target your service area, the tracked phone number is local to you, and the whole engine is managed remotely with a weekly results screenshot and monthly review. We don't operate outside the U.S. yet.
What is speed to lead, and why does it matter for home services?
Speed to lead is how fast a business makes first contact with a new lead. It's the single highest-leverage number in home service marketing: research consistently shows that contacting a lead within five minutes makes you dramatically more likely to win the job than waiting even an hour, because homeowners usually hire the first company that responds. Most home service businesses reply in hours or the next day — usually because the owner is on a job. Speedster's system replies to every new lead in under 60 seconds, automatically, day or night.
How many times should you follow up with a lead?
More than almost any business does. Roughly 80% of sales that close take five or more follow-ups, yet most home service companies stop after one or two attempts. Leads that go quiet aren't dead — they're busy homeowners who get won by whoever keeps showing up. Speedster installs a 7–10 touch follow-up sequence across text and email that runs until the lead replies; the moment they do, the automation stops and your team takes the conversation.
Does Speedster talk to my customers for me?
No — and that's deliberate. The system works every new lead automatically: the instant reply, the qualifying question, the repeated follow-up — until the lead responds. The moment a lead replies, it's your conversation: you or your office take over in the app and close the job the way only the person who prices the work can. You watch the follow-up happening in real time, so nothing is a black box.
Does Speedster do SEO, Google Ads, or website design?
Our core system is Facebook + Instagram advertising with follow-up automation — that's the fastest, most controllable lever for filling unused capacity in a home service business, so it's where we stay deliberately focused. We're not an SEO retainer shop or a Google Ads reseller. If your website is actively hurting conversion, we'll tell you on the call, and we can build a fast, conversion-focused site when it's genuinely needed.
How long until my ads are live and leads come in?
Ads are typically live within about 14 days of kickoff. The first days after launch are Meta's learning phase, and lead flow builds as the algorithm dials in — which is also why the engagement starts with a 30-day money-back guarantee and then a 12-month partnership: you prove it works risk-free first, then give the system the runway to compound.
What results can I expect from Speedster?
We don't guarantee revenue — nobody honest can promise what they don't control. What we install is measurable: every lead answered in under 60 seconds, a 7–10 touch follow-up on every quiet lead, creative from your real jobs, and a pipeline that shows exactly what every lead cost. Results depend on your average ticket, close rate, and crew capacity. For a directional estimate using your own numbers, the free Lead Leak Audit at speedstermarketing.com/free-lead-leak-audit takes 60 seconds.
The intro call
Before you book
The questions that come up on every intro call — pricing, contracts, lead quality, and why this isn't the agency that burned you.
I've been burned by an agency before. Why would this be different?
Fair — most owners we talk to have paid somebody big money and gotten a pretty report and no jobs. Two structural differences. First, the founder owned a home service company for 15 years and built this system to grow it — it existed before it was ever for sale. Second, you don't have to take our word for anything: every lead, reply, and follow-up touch shows up in your app in real time. You'll know whether it's working by week two, not month six.
Are these shared leads like Angi or HomeAdvisor?
No. Those platforms sell the same homeowner to four companies and make you race to the phone. These are ads for your company, showing your jobs, in your service area — and every lead lands only in your pipeline. We also lock your market: one client per trade, per service area. Period.
Do Facebook ads actually work for home services? The leads I've seen are garbage.
“Garbage leads” almost always means one thing: nobody qualified them. Boosted posts and stock-photo ads pull anyone with a thumb, then dump them on you raw. Pre-qualification is its own system, and it's the difference. It works in two stages. Before the lead ever reaches you, the creative is built from your real jobs (so it attracts people who want that exact result) and the ad forms ask about the job, the timeline, and the service area up front — the tire-kickers screen themselves out. Then how the lead is spoken to does the rest: the follow-up is written to sound like a real person and to draw out who's actually ready to buy, so your team spends time on real jobs, not dead ends. It's not more leads. It's leads that were already sorted before they hit your phone.
Am I locked into a long contract?
You start with a 30-day money-back guarantee — no risk. If you're not happy in the first 30 days, we refund our agency fee and part as friends (ad spend goes straight to Meta, so that part isn't ours to give back). If you are happy — and most owners are once the leads start landing — we move into a 12-month partnership, because that's the runway Meta's algorithm needs to fully dial in your cost per lead. You get to prove it works before you commit to it.
How much does this cost?
One flat monthly rate that covers everything: your ad creative, Facebook + Instagram campaign management, the 60-second replies and follow-up, review requests, and the app where you see every lead. No percentage of ad spend, no markup. We quote the exact number on a 20-minute call — and if the math doesn't make sense for your business, we'll tell you that too.
Is the ad spend included or separate?
Always separate from our fee, and it goes directly to Meta (Facebook and Instagram). We don't mark it up or take a percentage. On the intro call we help set a budget that matches your service area, average ticket, and capacity. Most clients run $1,500-$8,000/mo depending on trade and market.
Who owns the ad account, the creative, and the leads?
You do — all three, in your name from day one. Agencies holding websites and ad accounts hostage is one of the ugliest habits in this industry. If we ever part ways, everything stays with you: the account, the audiences, the videos, the numbers, and every lead we ever generated.
Who actually runs my account after I sign?
A small, senior team that lives and breathes home services — not a rotating junior account manager juggling forty unrelated accounts. Speedster stays deliberately focused: home services only, one client per trade per area. You get a weekly results screenshot, a monthly review, and the app shows you the same screen we look at.
I'm on jobs all day — who's answering all these leads?
The system does the chasing; your team does the selling. Every new lead gets an instant reply in under 60 seconds, then a 7–10 touch sequence over text and email — voicemail drops where they fit — until they respond. The moment they reply, the conversation is in your team's hands inside the app. And no, it doesn't hammer people forever: when the sequence ends, it stops.
Have you ever actually run a home service business?
Fifteen years and counting — paver sealing. Priced the jobs, chased the leads, dealt with the rain days. Speedster exists because generic agencies didn't understand that business either. It's also why we only serve home service trades: pressure washing, paver sealing, plumbing, roofing, HVAC, and landscaping.
Why should I trust you over the ten agencies cold-calling me this month?
Don't trust the pitch — check the structure. A 30-day money-back guarantee, so you risk nothing to see it work. No markup on ad spend. You own your account, creative, and data. One client per trade, per area. And no revenue guarantees, because nobody honest can promise what they don't control. Every hook the burn-you agencies use is deliberately missing here. That's on purpose.
Who isn't a good fit?
If you're under roughly $500k in annual revenue, this probably isn't your next move — and we'll say so. The 30-day money-back window is there so you can prove it works risk-free, but the 12-month partnership after it is a real commitment: this is built for owners ready to run the system long enough to win, not to kick the tires for a month and bail. If we don't believe we can help you book more of the right jobs, we'll tell you on the first call.
The fine detail
The system, your data, and the exit
How the machine actually runs day to day, who owns what, and exactly what happens if you ever leave.
How does Speedster's follow-up automation actually work?
Every new lead gets a text and email within 60 seconds of submitting a form, calling, or DMing — automatically. If they don't reply within a defined window, the system sends gentle, human-toned follow-ups across multiple touches over 14 days. The moment a lead replies, all automation stops on that lead so you (or your CSR) can take over the conversation. Once the job is booked, a different sequence handles confirmation, day-of reminders, and a post-job review request. Nothing is generic — every message is tuned to the trade and the buying stage.
What software do I have to buy or learn?
None. We install and manage the entire backend for you — the pipeline, the conversations inbox, the calendar, the tracked phone number, and the automation. What you see is one simple app on your phone: every lead, every conversation, every next step in one place. No dashboards to learn, no software subscriptions to manage, no logins to juggle. We configure it, tune it, and keep it running; you open the app and run your jobs. If we ever part ways, your data and lead list export with you.
Can I keep my existing website and just use Speedster's backend?
Yes. If your website is already decent, we plug the Lead Engine into it: tracking number, connected forms, instant replies, and follow-up on top of what you have. We'll need access to your current hosting and form embeds. If the site is actively hurting conversion, we'll tell you straight on the call; sometimes the honest answer is that a new site has to come first, and we build those fast when it's needed.
Do I need to provide my own ad creative footage?
Yes. We don't fly out to film: you (or your crew) capture footage during work you're already doing. Phone-shot is fine. If you don't have good video, we build ads from your existing photos. We send a simple shooting checklist on day one so you know exactly what to capture, and we handle all the editing and copywriting.
What does 'instant reply' actually mean — like, how fast?
Under 60 seconds, automated. The moment a lead submits a form, calls and hangs up (missed-call text-back), or DMs your social profiles, the system sends a personalized text and email asking the qualifying question. The response goes out whether you're at your desk or running a job at 2pm on Saturday. Speed-to-lead is the single highest-leverage thing in home service marketing — research consistently shows that contacting a lead within five minutes increases booking rates by 100x compared to an hour later, and our system does it in under one.
How do you handle review requests without being spammy?
Reviews requests fire automatically only after a job is marked completed in the pipeline — never on a cold lead, never on an unfinished job. The first request is a polite text. If they don't respond, we send one gentle reminder a week later. If they still don't respond, the sequence stops permanently — we never re-ask the same customer next year. If they leave a review, the sequence stops the moment the review is detected. The result: more reviews, no annoyed customers, no awkward repeats.
What about referral requests?
Optional, and only sent to customers who completed a job and either left a positive review or rated the work positively in our post-job survey. Cold leads never see referral asks. The request is simple and operator-toned — not a corporate referral program. About 10–15% of happy customers send a referral within 90 days when this is set up correctly.
Do I have to use the calendar booking, or can customers still call?
Both. The system gives every customer the option — calendar link in every text, phone number listed prominently, missed-call text-back so calls don't drop. Most home service customers prefer text, but older customers and emergency calls still come through the phone. Nothing changes about your existing phone number; we add a tracked number that forwards to it so we can attribute leads to ad spend correctly.
What happens if I want to leave Speedster?
The first 30 days are money-back — not happy with our work and we refund our agency fee, no hard feelings. After that it's a 12-month partnership. Whenever we do part ways, there's no clawback on ads we've run: we export your lead data, hand over your ad account and creative, and document what you'd need to keep things running — everything was in your name anyway.
Is my data safe? Who owns the customer list?
You own all customer data. Period. Speedster operates the system on your behalf; we don't sell, share, or use your customer list for anything other than your own marketing. If you cancel, we export your full customer and lead database and hand it over. We're a small operator-built shop — your trust is our entire business.
